Panacea
was the daughter of the god of medicine and healing, Asclepius. He was one of
Apollo's sons. According to the Greek Myths, goddess Panacea could cure all diseases, so her
name became synonymous to Universal Remedy. Panacea passed in our language as a
substance that cures anything, or as an elixir that it’s hard to find, and it
is used in many therapeutic treatments.
